[Women's Golf] Women's Golf Competes at CSM Fall Invite
Doane Women's Golf traveled to Omaha on Wednesday to compete in the Saint Mary Fall Invite. The Tigers competed at Tiburon Golf Course, which played as a Par 72 course. The Tigers finished 8th overall with a team score of 385.
Tressa Bull (FR/Burke, S.D.) led the Tigers on the day with a round of 90 and tied for 12th overall. Sarah Vaughn (SR/Grand Island, Neb.) posted a score of 95 to tie for 23rd. Margaret Elliott (SO/Omaha, Neb.) finished in a tie for 28th after posting a 97. Afton Mitchell (SO/Gering, Neb.) rounded out the team scorers with a round of 103 as she finished in 41st place.
Stephanie Hoshor (JR/Murray, Neb.) posted a round of 119 to place 49th. Anna Korte (FR/Grand Island, Neb.) placed 55th with a round of 124 and Christine Rost (SO/Hamburg, Iowa) finished with a 129 to place 59th.
Bellevue was the team champion with a score of 338. Kim Moore of Bellevue was the medalist with a round of 78.
Next up for the Tigers will be the 1st and 2nd rounds of the GPAC Championships on October 1-2 in Vermillion, S.D.
