[Women's Golf] Vikings Win BVU Fall Invite Behind Kerrigan's and Nelson's 1-2 Finish

Storm Lake, Iowa – The Vikings used a 1-2 finish from their top golfers as well as 4 in the Top-20 to propel the team atop the leaderboard at the Buena Vista Fall Invite at Lake Creek Country Club.

The Vikings were led by Karli Kerrigan (JR/Ankeny, IA) who shot a 148 (73-75) and won the event. Kimberly Nelson (SR/Miri, Sarawak) earned 2nd-place for Grand View and overall by carding a 159 (79-80). Alexis Owen (SR/Adel, IA) finished in a tie for 5th with a 168 (86-82). Freshman Lauren Anderson (FR/Conrad, IA) placed in the Top-20 for the Vikings with a 184 (92-92) which gave her a share of 17th-place.

Grand View won the event by a remarkable 52 strokes. This was the second tournament in a row that the Vikings walked away as team medalists. Full results can be seen below.
