[Women's Golf] Kerrigan Wins Heart of America Player of the Week

Kansas City, Missouri – Karli Kerrigan (JR/Ankeny, IA) was named the Women's Golf Player of the Week for the Heart of America Conference.

Kerrigan served one of the driving forces behind the Vikings' recent success. The junior transfer won both the team's last two competitions: the Graceland Invite and the BVU Fall Invite. Kerrigan carded a 77 and a 148 (73-75) respectively in route to helping her team win both events. Kerrigan has yet to finish below 3rd-place on the leaderboard this fall season.

Kerrigan is the second women's golfer to earn the honor this season. Kimberly Nelson (SR/Miri, Sarawak) won the award the week of September 12th. The women retake the links on September 26th as they travel to Indianola, Iowa to compete in the Simpson Invite.
