[Golf] Men's Golf Finishes 6th at SCU Invite; Westlake, Maston Grab Top-20 Finishes

OKLAHOMA CITY – Entering the final round of their trip to the Southwestern Christian University Fall Invitational, the Mid-America Christian University golf teams were in position to grab an excellent finish, both for the men as a team, and for several players as individuals. The Evangels played respectably in the tournament's final round, and when the dust settled, the Evangels men's team had its lowest 36-hole score under head coach Allen Dukes.

MACU shot 308 as a team in the final round, posting the first sub-600 team score in a 36-hole event under Dukes, who is in his fifth season as the head coach. Individually, Isaac Maston of the men, and Kirsten Westlake of the ladies each finished in the top 20 of the event. The Evangels finished in sixth place as a team in the event, six strokes outside the top-five.
