[Women's Golf] Grand View Wins Graceland Invitational Behind Kerrigan's Top Finish

Lamoni, Iowa – Only a few days after their male counterparts, the Grand View University women's golf traveled to the Lamoni Golf and Country Club to compete in the Graceland Invitational. Behind a trio of Top-10 finishers and every golfer placing inside the Top-20, the Vikings finished in 1st-place in a field of 9 teams.

Karli Kerrigan (JR/Ankeny, IA) paced Grand View and the field as she sat atop the leaderboard at the completion of the tournament with a 77. Kimberly Nelson (SR/Miri, Sarawak) wasn't far behind as she shot an 83 to finish in 3rd-place. Alexis Owen (SR/Adel, IA) carded an 87 that landed her in a tie for 7th, while Kenzie Nossaman (JR/Pella, IA) and Lauren Anderson (Conrad, IA) scored a 94 and 96 which placed them in a tie for 16th and 18th respectively.

The Vikings won the event by an impressive 12 strokes. Full results can be seen below.
