[Men's Golf] Johannes Surprises at Frank Wrigglesworth Invite
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Viterbo Men's Golf opened up their 2018-2019 season at UW-Eau Claire's home invite after weather postponed the previous Clarke Fall Invitational last Wednesday. The first round of the Frank Wrigglesworth Invitational on Sunday was played at Eau Clare Golf and Country Club while round two on Monday was played at Wild Ridge Golf Course.
Freshman Robert Johannes (FR) on the V-Hawk "B" squad was not intimidated by his first collegiate competition, recording the best score from Viterbo. Austin Roth (JR/Viroqua, Wis.) and Eric Olson (SR/Onalaska, Wis.) used improved day two rounds to lead the "A" squad to an 8th place finish.
