[Women's Golf] Bees take eighth place at Highland Classic

In its second tournament of the fall, the St. Ambrose women's golf team finished sixth place at the Highland Classic hosted by Augustana College at Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill.
A second-day 338 helped SAU overtake Illinois College for sixth place and the Bees finished a single shot behind Carl Sandburg College for fifth.
St. Ambrose shot a 682 (344-338) as a team in the eight-team event which ended Sunday.
Emily Jean was the top Bee finisher, ending in a tie for 17th with a 165 (80-85). Elyse Kalb shot a 171 (87-84) and Becki Meils carded a 173 (88-85) to both finish inside the top 30. Abi Scheidecker's 174 (90-84) and Ali Scheidecker's 177 (89-88) rounded out the SAU scores.
