Poll Methodology…
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences. Each conference is given one rater for every four schools in the league. Each rater ranks the teams from high to low with a team receiving 25 points for each first-place vote, 24 for second-place and so on. All of the raters votes are added together and the top 25 teams are ordered by highest to lowest points. Any team that does not fall in the list of 25 teams, but a coach voted for, will be placed on the receiving votes list.
