Steve Kerr pushed right buttons with Warriors

Steve Kerr isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Not to retirement on the golf course, or to a life of bodysurfing in the Pacific.

For that you can thank, in part, the absurd price of San Francisco real estate.

“I bought a house in San Francisco and I’m going to have to coach another 20 years to afford it,” the Warriors’ head coach joked during the playoffs.

Kerr will become a San Francisco resident, and Warriors general manager Bob Myers’ neighbor in Presidio Heights, sometime in the next year. Long before he moves into his new digs, Kerr will have a new contract.
