[Men's Golf] Pfingsten to Compete in 2018 Men's Golf National Championship
Silvus, Illinois – Viking Mitch Pfingsten (SR/Fairmont, Minnesota) will begin his first round of the 2018 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship at TPC Deere Run on May 15th and go until the 18th.
Pfingsten has consistently been the top men's golfer this season for Coach Chris Winkel. He earned a qualifying bid in the 2018 National Championship with his Top-15 finish in last year's tournament that earned him All-American status.
When the Vikings competed in the NAIA Preview earlier this season at the same golf course, Pfingsten came away with a 5th-place finish.
Fans can follow Pfingsten and the rest of the field's progress by following the Live Scoring with GolfStat. CLICK HERE to access the team and individual scoring at TPC Deere Run.
A day video recap will be available on the NAIA Facebook page. Fans can access this for free by 9 p.m. CST each day. The NAIA holds exclusive broadcast rights for the National Championship and no other live video-streaming is allowed.
The NAIA is experimenting with a digital-only media guide. This homepage has information on rosters, quick facts; live scoring links; pairings; preview and more. CLICK HERE to access the Media Guide.
