[Women's Golf] ONU Women's Golf excited to add Grace Miller

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. —Head coach Bill Johnson and the Olivet Nazarene University women's golf team is excited to add Grace Miller, from Decatur, Illinois, to the Tigers' 2018 recruiting class.  Miller had an outstanding career at Decatur Christian High School.

Miller commented on ONU, "I knew Olivet was where I wanted to go after my first visit. It felt like home from the moment I stepped foot on campus and the students and professors were so welcoming and friendly. I met the coaches and the team and I could really feel the family atmosphere which I loved."

Megan finished an outstanding prep career in the fall. She was a back-to-back IHSA 1A State Qualifier and Regional Runner-up in 2016 and 2017. Grace was named IHSA 1A First Team All-State after finishing sixth overall at the State Finals during her junior season. She earned East Central Illinois All-Conference honors her final three seasons and was conference champion her senior season. Miller also was the Mike Hendricks Memorial individual medalist (2017) and Drysdale Match Play champion (2016).

In addition to playing to playing golf for the Warriors, Grace also played basketball.

Miller plans on studying chemical engineering while at Olivet. She is a member of the National Honor Society and will graduate first in her graduating class.

Grace and her sister, Kate, father, Dave, and mother, Amy, attend First Christian Church in Decatur. She has taken four mission trips to Cincinnati, Ohio and traveled to Cuba for another.
