[Men's Golf] Men's Golf Wins Patriots Spring Invitational

The Brescia University Men's Golf Team, in their first tournament under new Head Coach Jason Cox, was victorious. They traveled to London, KY to play this week in the 2018 Patriots Spring Invitational hosted by The University of the Cumberlands on March 26th and 27th.  The Bearcats were able to knock off tournament host U of C ( ranked 43 in the nation) and Georgetown College (ranked 57 in the nation) as they shot a team total of 616 for a slim four shot victory.

The Bearcats were led by junior Trevor Brown who shot (75-74) for Medalist honors and his first win at BU. Chance England (78-76) and Justin Roberts (74-81) were T-6 and T-8 respectively.  This is the first win for the Bearcats on the road in almost two years since they won the Conference Tournament in 2016 and the first for Coach Cox. The Bearcats travel this weekend to take on Alice Lloyd at Battlefield Golf Club in Richmond KY.
