Tiger Woods live stream 2018: How to watch Arnold Palmer Invitational Round 3 online
Tiger will start the weekend at Bay Hill still in the hunt, which is a welcome sight at a place with so many good memories.
It you’re still trying to come down from UMBC pulling off the biggest upset in March Madness history, we’re here to offer golf. It’s not just any, boring Saturday golf. But Tiger Woods golf. Tiger Woods playing the weekend at a course where he’s won eight times kinda golf.
Woods will tee off Saturday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at 12:15 p.m. ET alongside Justin Rose. He is currently 4-under, which is a good seven shots off the 36-hole lead set by Bryson DeChambeau and Henrik Stenson. But he’s inside the top 20 and at least has a chance to make it interesting over these last 36 holes. It’s not the position he was in last week in Tampa, where he played in the final few groups and held a share of the lead on both Saturday and Sunday. He is, however, not out of it on a course he knows so well.
Tiger is back to dominating the par-5s, which had been a weakness in his game up to this point. It’s remarkable that he’s back playing this well, and also remarkable that he’s put up the scores he has while throwing away shots on the par-5s. That’s always been his most reliable path to success but he was not capitalizing on those chances in his first four starts of the season. That changed this week, when he birdied all four par-5s on Thursday and then the back nine par-5s on Friday to get to even in the second round. He’ll need to pounce on those chances again this weekend if there’s any hope of making a move up the leaderboard.
Golf Channel will have the early portion of Tiger’s round, going live at 12:30 p.m. ET. NBC will have the second half of the round with the triumphant return of Johnny Miller. The longtime NBC lead analyst is likely in his final season in the booth, but after skipping the network’s first two events, he’s expected to be back for one of their critical pre-Masters stretches.
If you’re unable to watch on TV, or just have that device occupied with pressing March Madness matters, then you can simulcast stream all the coverage. PGA Tour Live will also have their usual offering of livestreams running the entire day, including the only place to watch the very start of Tiger’s round at 12:15 p.m. Here are your streaming and coverage options for Saturday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational:
