[Golf] Austin sets new program course record at Ottawa Invitational

LAWRENCE, Kan. -The Thresher golf program spent their last two days out in Lawrence for the annual Ottawa Invitational. The tournament took place on Eagle Bend Golf Course, where Bethel struggled to find their groove on Day 1. Coming into the second half of the tournament in 11th place, the Threshers were able to shave a total of 20 strokes off their game compared to the first round and finish in eighth place. Leading them in their turn-around was Parker Austin (SO/Derby, Kan.), who turned in a round of 72 to finish 7th overall in the tournament, and set a new course record for the Bethel golf program.
