[Men's Golf] Men's Golf Finish Second in Springfield

The Seminole State College men's golf team finished second last week at the Evangel Spring Invitational, their best finish in two years. The two day tournament was held at the 7,066 yard layout of Rivercut Golf Course, one of the top public courses in Missouri.

Two freshmen shined for the Trojans as Brice Terry started hot on day one to lead the field after the first round with a 3-under 69, which tied for the best round of the tournament. On day two, Mason Coulston picked up where Terry left off and fired a 2-under 70. Both freshmen finished T-3 at 146 (+2).

Robbie Turner was next for the Trojans with a two day total of 157 to finish T-10. Zach Taylor and Addison Tway rounded out the scoring for SSC as they finished T-13 and T-18 respectively.
