[Women's Golf] Steady improvement is name of the game for women's golf

Georgetown College women's golf wrapped up the fall season and first full year under alumnus Marlene Schulte. The Tigers have taken great strides in that 365 days and the youthful coach is excited about what the future holds for this team.

"I'm extremely proud of the girls for seeing this kind of improvement. Improving by multiple strokes is not common or easy," Schulte said. "However to be more competitive in our conference we have to continue this upward trend."

The three upperclassmen – sophomore Baylee Salyers, junior Mary Catherine Borders and senior Kylie Speicher – were true leaders all fall, playing their best collegiate golf yet.
