[Men's Golf] Mens Golf: Point Places 4th at Coastal Georgia Invitational

SAINT SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.   The Point University men's golf team, ranked 18th in the most recent NAIA National Top 25 Coaches' poll, placed fourth among 12 teams with 904 total strokes (40 over par) for 54 holes at the Seventh Annual Coastal Georgia Invitational played on the Sea Island Golf Club and Retreat course in Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Oct. 30-31.  The event originally was scheduled for Sept. 4-5, but was postponed due to the arrival of Hurricane Irma.

The invitational was the final fall event for the Skyhawks who begin the spring season on March 12-13, when they host the Point University Skyhawks Invitational at the Callaway Golf Club in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
