[General] Cox Named Bearcats Golf Coach

Brescia University would like to introduce the new Men's and Women's Head Golf Coach, Jason Cox. Coach Cox returns to Brescia University after a brief stint out of collegiate coaching. Coach Cox has stayed in the golf realm as a golf pro at The Pearl Club in Owensboro. 

Athletic Director, Brian Skortz had this to say about Coach Cox, "We are excited to welcome back Jason Cox as our Head Golf Coach. Jason will be able to continue to build on the success we have had in our golf program in past years and for future years to come. He is very knowledgeable about the game and relates with student athletes very well.  He is widely known in the area and will be a good recruiter for us".

Coach Cox had this to say, "I am excited for the opportunity to come back to my Alma Mater as the Head Golf Coach.  As a player, I have very fond memories of the competition and comraderies we had together on and off the course. Moving forward I plan on building upon a strong foundation that Coach Ballou laid before my arrival. Our goal is to become a consistent powerhouse by recruiting top level players that want to work hard and achieve higher levels on and off the golf course."

Coach Cox makes his coaching debut when the teams begin this Spring.
