[Golf] Hurn Leads way with 68 as Golf Opens at Home

LAURINBURG, NC- Senior men's golfer Joe Hurn (SR/Mountaintop, PA) fired a -3 under par 68 today during round one of the St. Andrews Invitational at Scotch Meadows country club in Laurinburg.

Needless to say he is leading the tournament heading into round two tomorrow which is set to begin at 9:30 AM.

On the women's side, senior Olivia Pruitt (SR/Duncan, OK) is sitting in 2nd place after her opening round 77 while junior teammate Devon Omar (JR/Grovetown, GA) is in third after a 78.

The SAU women are in 2nd place out of 6 teams while the men are in 3rd out of 7, just six strokes back of first place Cumberlands.
