Princeville's Makai Golf Club Named to Golf World's List of "America's 100 Best Golf Shops"

Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii (January 24, 2011) – Golf World magazine has named Makai Golf Club at The St. Regis Princeville Resort to its prestigious list of “America’s 100 Best Golf Shops.” The list is announced annually by Golf World, a Golf Digest publication, with 25 shops recognized in each of four categories--resort courses, private clubs, public courses, and off-course shops--comprising the top 100 in the nation. Makai Golf Club, located on the north shore of the island of Kauai, was one of 25 named in the Resort Course category on the newly released list. Shops were selected based on a number of criteria, including revenue per square foot and per round of golf; appearance, layout, and product displays; and successful promotions and initiatives to enhance sales in the last year.
