[Men's Golf] RedStorm places seventh at Shawnee Fall Invite

    FRIENDSHIP, Ohio - The University of Rio Grande men's golf team wrapped up its fall schedule with a seventh place finish in the Shawnee State fall Invite, which concluded its two-day run on Monday afternoon at the Shawnee State Park Golf Resort.
    The RedStorm compiled a 36-hole total of 662, which was 86-over par and six shots in front of Kentucky Christian University. Shawnee State "B" team finished at the bottom of the nine-team event, 23 shots behind Rio Grande.
    Rio finished 64 shots behind tournament champion Pikeville, while host Shawnee State University finished three shots behind the Bears in second place with a 25-over par 601. Campbellsville University was third with a 32-over 608.
