[Men's Golf] Mens Golf: Point Ties for Third at AAC Fall Invitational; Wowor on All-Tournament Team

MIDLAND, Ga.   The Point University men's golf team totaled 599 strokes (23 over par) for 36 holes and tied for third place among 11 Appalachian Athletics Conference schools, just two strokes behind second-place Milligan College (Tenn.) and eight strokes behind Invitational champion Reinhardt University (Ga.) at the 2017 AAC Fall Invitational, Oct. 9-10, at the Bull Creek Golf Course in Midland, Ga.

The Skyhawks, ranked 18th in the current NAIA National Men's Golf Coaches Poll, finished Monday's first 18-hole round in third place with 299 strokes, just two strokes behind Milligan and four behind Truett-McConnell, the first-day team leader with 295 strokes.  The Skyhawks totaled 300 on Tuesday, while Truett-McConnell had 304
