[Men's Golf] Trevecca Men's Golf Sixth after Round 1 @ St. Louis Midwest Regional
EUREKA, Mo. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's golf team is tied for sixth overall at the University of Missouri-St. Louis Midwest Regional. Blain Turner leads the Trojans with an even-par 72.
The team shot 300 and are one of four teams tied for sixth and a stroke back two teams tied for fourth.

After Turner, who is tied for eighth and four back of the leader, Landon Cottrell is two-over par 74 (20th), Payton Williams turned in a three-over-par 75 (30th), and John Leverton represented the fourth and final counting score with a 79. Trevor Lay shot an 80.
TOURNAMENT FIELD REPORT
New Great Midwest foe Hillsdale College leads the field with a 295. They are a stroke ahead of Lindenwood University and McKendree University. Hillsdale is the only G-MAC team ahead of the Trojans, but Kentucky Wesleyan is tied after a first round 300. Other G-MAC teams competing are the University of Findlay (318) in 18th, Walsh University (321) in 20th, and Cedarville University (324) in 22nd place.
LEADERBOARD DETAILS
Craig Stefureak of Dury University leads the chase for Medalist honors with a four-under 68. There are six golfers three back at one-under-par 71.

Day two at the University of Missouri-St. Louis hosted Midwest Regional on Tuesday at the Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, MO. The men's version of the Trevecca Music City Invitational is next at Foxland Harbor Country Club in Gallatin, TN on October 30-31.
