[Men's Golf] Mens Golf: Point 7th at USC-Beaufort Invitational; Top 10 Finish for de Oliviera

PALM HARBOR, Fla.   The Point University men's golf team totaled 926 strokes (74 over par) for 54 holes and placed seventh among 18 schools and just seven strokes out of sixth place at the 2017 University of South Carolina-Beaufort Invitational at the Innisbrook Resort-Copperhead Course in Innisbrook, Florida, Oct. 2-3.

The Skyhawks, ranked 18th in the current NAIA National Men's Golf Coaches Poll, were tied for eighth after Monday's first 18-hole round and moved up to seventh place during Monday's second round and maintained that position through the third round on Tuesday.  Point was one of eight teams in the tournament that is ranked among the nation's top 31 teams.
