The terracing • Re: LA shooting
As a gun owner for many years I can see why people would want to own one. And I can't see why anyone would want to stop us. Yes there have been killings and it gets tedious repeating this, it's not the gun that kills but the nutter who pulls the trigger.
As a sports shooter why would I object to someone having golf clubs? Ok I know there have been no mass killings with clubs, but there have been killings. Same goes for chef's knives ( or kitchen for that matter ). That's not even looking at radicals using vans to kill. People who don't have any interest in guns shouldn't have the right to stop me having one, ( many just don't understand them in the first place, and only see this incident or movies where they blast off rounds ) just as I don't have the right to stop someone owning golf clubs.
As for guns I have known and still know dozens of people who have a gun and not one has had any inclination to harm another person.
Right, now the disclaimer: I do feel sorry for those killed and injured but I can't stop it nor can anyone else, no matter how much legislation there is. Yardies in London have hand guns even though they have been banned here for years. In the USA they couldn't possibly ban guns now due to the fact they don't know how many are in circulation.
So will this happen again, YES and more than once, it's life and you have to get used to the bad stuff as well as the good.
