[Women's Golf] Omar leads Lady Knight Golf at AACs

PINEVILLE, KY- The St. Andrews wopmen's golf team are currently sitting in 8th place overall out of 12 teams after the first round of the AAC fall Championship at Wasiota Winds GC hosted by Union College in Pineville, KY on Monday.

The SAU women shot 342 as a team and sit 32 strokes back of first place Milligan College's 310.

Junior Devon Omar (JR/Grovetown, GA) is leading the charge for the ladies after her impressive 74 in the first round put her in third place, just one stroke back of the leaders and just +2 over par. Omar's 74 is her career best score as a Knight as well.

Senior Olivia Pruitt (SR/Duncan, OK) is next on the Knights in 32nd place after her first round 85. Senior Isabelle Sullivan (SR/Fremont, NH) is then one stroke back in 34th place with an 86. Finally, freshman Hayley Reed (FR/Concord, NH) is the fourth member of the Knight to score with her first round 97 as she sits in 52nd place.

The Lady Knights will tee off at 10:00 AM Tuesday.
