[Men's Golf] Mens Golf: 17th-Ranked Point Seventh at Thomas Fall Invitational

VALDOSTA, Ga.   The Point University men's golf team totaled 600 strokes (24 over par) for 36 holes and placed seventh among 14 schools and just one stroke out of sixth place at the 2017 Thomas University Fall Invitational at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Ga., Sept. 25-26.

Point, which ranks 17th in the NAIA National Men's Golf Coaches' Pre-Season Poll, played in its first event of the fall season and was one of six schools in the tournament ranked in the top 20 in the poll.  Number 20 Coastal Georgia and number two Dalton State (Ga.) tied for first in the battle for the team title with two-day totals of 564 (12 under par).
