[Men's Golf] Hartman bests Daxon for medalist honors at Clarke Invitational

Devin Hartman defeated teammate Dylan Daxon based on a scorecard tiebreaker to claim individual medalist honors at the Clarke Fall Invitational Saturday.

Hartman had rounds of 77 and 78 while Daxon shot a 76-79 to tie atop the leaderboard with 155s at the Eagle Ridge Resort North Course in Galena, Ill.

The pair helped St. Ambrose finish second in the nine-team event. Behind the play of Hartman and Daxon, the Bees built a 10-shot lead following Friday's round. But after carding a first-round 315, SAU slipped to a second-round 322 and watched William Penn (327-305) charge past to win the team title by five strokes.
