[Men's Golf] Tigers help Danis celebrate birthday with a title
No amount of rain or lightning was going to dampen Connor Danis' birthday, just delay the big celebration. A senior on the men's Georgetown College golf team helped the Tigers remain steady through two delays of almost two hours. GC rallied from third place after day one for a huge victory in the Mid-South Conference fall meet.
"This lets us know and gives us confidence inside our conference," said Conor Taylor. "It was awesome the way our team came together through the challenges and handled the day better than the rest of the teams. This is our step one in the conference toward an NAIA championship.
"Not to mention a great birthday present for Chip (Danis)."
