If I understand correctly, some of the messages would indicate that a Referee can rule that A lost the hole – however the Committee could not.
I am wondering in which Rules books I could find a confirmation of this statement?
IMO a Referee is an expert on the rules of golf and he is at the disposal of the Committee. Consequently, a Referee is subordinated to the Committee? If this is true, how could a subordinate have more power than the boss?
Could anyone tell me what is wrong in my reasoning?
