[Women's Golf] Golf camp is a swinging success
Nearly a dozen six through 13-year-olds recently got bitten by the golf bug through the assistance of Georgetown College women's golf team. The ladies hosted a four day camp at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown to teach proper swing techniques and provide on-course instruction all while having fun.
The campers – both boys and girls – were exposed to many new drills through fun games. These included putting through an obstacle course and trying to hit balls into a giant inflatable "golfzilla."
The highlight of the week was golfzilla, which had target spots the campers tried to hit balls into.
