The Old Course Reversed in 2024. An amazing experience with my family. As far back as the 1400s, the Old Course was designed to be played either clockwise or anti-clockwise. It wasn’t until 1870 that Old Tom Morris introduced the current first green by splitting it from the 17th when the current routing became the standard. Getting to play the Old Course in the reverse routing is one of the most unique experiences you can have in golf. Highly recommend.
