UEFA closes 2021 Champions League bidding but opens up for 2022 and 2023
February 25 – Germany and Russia are going head-to-head for the hosting of the 2021 Champions League finals with Munich and St Petersburg as the candidate cities.
Germany would host at Munich’s Arena München, a venue for the 2020 Euros that Germany will organise, while Russia have put forward their Saint Petersburg Stadium, a marquee venue during the 2018 World Cup.
