They've completely misjudged the time it would take to get into golf or create a elite football league. Think the saudi league wont last much past Ronaldo hitting 1000 goals. No one cares. They dont have the saudi players to make it work. Its 50 years away even spending vast sumsLIV golf done by the end this season, what else is on the Saudi chopping block?
Even Newcastle have found the glass ceiling of FFP. Sport isnt something their vast wealth allows them to take over. Boxing maybe because it's individual events. People want to win a major though or a champions league.
