When and where Italy could play at 2026 World Cup
If Italy do make it to the 2026 World Cup, then their games will be against Canada on June 12, Switzerland on June 18 and Qatar on June 24.
The tournament kicks off next summer and is co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The draw was held yesterday, but as it was so complicated with 48 teams and many who still haven’t booked their place yet through the play-offs, the calendar was only confirmed this evening.
If Italy do beat Northern Ireland in the semi-final of the play-offs in March and then either Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina, then they will be placed into Group B.
FIFA have organised the fixtures to ensure the best possible viewing audience, taking time difference into account.
With this in mind, all three of the Azzurri group games would kick off at 21.00 Italian time (20.00 in the UK).
