Mbeumo is primarily a right winger or as a right-sided number 10, but has played as a centre-forward in the past.

He has accumulated 18 goal contributions from just 31 appearances upfront during his time at Brentford.

Mbeumo is much better than Zirkzee at holding onto possession as well as running behind defences.

He can also drop into deep-lying positions to link-up play and has had a good recent record against the Eagles.

The Cameroonian star has three goal involvements in his last four meetings against the south London outfit.

This includes goals home and away last season, as the Bees did the double over the Eagles.

Mbeumo, described as ‘powerful‘ by Man Utd’s official website, should lead the line in Sunday’s early kick-off.

In that case, Amorim can choose to play either Mason Mount or Kobbie Mainoo alongside Amad in attacking midfield.

Bruno Fernandes is the best solution, but Amorim has preferred to stick with the Portuguese in central midfield this term.
