Jerry Jones Says Patriots Star’s Brother Expected Back From Injury Week 14

It’s been six weeks since Dallas Cowboys star cornerback Trevon Diggs suffered a concussion and knee injury during an “accident” at his home.

The younger brother of New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs missed his sixth straight game during Dallas’ Thanksgiving Day win against the Kansas City Chiefs, but Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gave a positive update on the defensive back Friday.

“Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan said CB Trevon Diggs (knee) ‘will be on the field in Detroit (next Thursday), in my view, (barring a setback),'” Jon Machota of The Athletic posted on X.

The Alabama product recorded 18 tackles across the team’s first six games this year before going down with the injury.

The two-time Pro Bowler suffered a season-ending torn ACL between Weeks 2 and 3 of the 2023 campaign and was limited to 11 contests last year.

Dallas (6-5-1) stayed just outside of the playoff picture by virtue of its Week 13 win vs. Kansas City.

The Cowboys travel to face the Detroit Lions in Week 14 on “Thursday Night Football.”
