QUEEN’S PARK are the first competitive visitors to The Falkirk Stadium since the Bairns were crowned William Hill Championship winners in May.
The Premier Sports Group A clash against the Premiership side could have a big bearing on who finishes top of the section in the league cup competition.
Cove Rangers took a point from John McGlynn’s side on Saturday and Sean Crighton’s Spiders are looking to do similar, or better, to keep alive their hopes of progression and a second consecutive knock-out stage.
Queen’s Park have gone a week without a game since defeating Brechin – and filled the weekend off competitive action with an open training session and fan meet-and-greet at The city Stadium.

Tyrece McDonnell struck a double on his full competitive debut while there was another brace for Josh Fowler and strike partner Michael Ruth was also off the mark at The city Stadium.
Saturday’s results opened the section up slightly, with Cove holding Falkirk to a draw.
However the Bairns took a bonus point on penalties and Spartans moved top with another win over Ray McKinnon’s Highland League side.

Supporters are advised there are extensive roadworks in the vicinity of The Falkirk Stadium and should leave plenty of time for travel to the ground.
QPSA is running a bus to the game with pick-ups at Clarkston (5.45pm) and Hampden Tesco (6pm). Spaces can be booked with a £5 deposit on the QPSA website. Prices for this trip are: Adults £10, Adult and Child £12, Under-16 £5.
A ticketed fanzone is in operation at The Falkirk Stadium for home fans only.
