Grant Scott has named his first Hibs Women starting XI of the 2025/26 campaign!

The Hibees face Boroughmuir Thistle in our first pre-season friendly match at Meadowbank Stadium this afternoon.

All three summer arrivals feature in the matchday squad as the majority of the First Team are available for selection. 

17-year-old keeper Rowena Armitage starts in goal. The youngster signed her first professional contract in April after a successful loan spell with Montrose. 

Caley Gibb, who returns to Hibs Women on a permanent deal following her short-term loan deal with the Club last season, will start in defence.

Club captain Rachael Boyle starts for the first time in five months after suffering an injury that ruled her out for the end of the 2024/25 season on Sunday 16 February versus Montrose. 

Siobhan Hunter, Ellis Notley, Linzi Taylor, Ciara Grant and Michaela McAlonie also all start, while Rosie Livingstone and Kirsty Morrison join new recruit Hannah Jordan up top.

On the bench, new forward Tiree Burchill could appear for the first time in green and white if introduced.

Noa Schumacher, Stacey Papadopoulos, Lauren Doran-Barr, Jessica Ramsay and Isla Taylor are also all listed as substitutes for the match alongside Burchill.
