Three stars Man United could sign after Bryan Mbeumo

0 0

Manchester United have bolstered their attacking ranks by snapping up Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha.

They have also reached an agreement with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo.

United will pay the initial £65 million fee in four instalments which leaves them with some funds to make more signings.

The potential departure of Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho could further boost their transfer kitty.

Here are three exciting names United could target next.

Benjamin Sesko – Striker

Sesko was understood to be Arsenal’s priority target, but they have shifted their focus to Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres.

United have been tracking his development for a number of years.

The 22-year-old has starred at RB Leipzig and could make a move this summer.

The German giants could demand a sky-high fee of around £70-£80 million to sanction the exit of their prized asset.

Sesko has the potential to be a future superstar, but it will be interesting to see if United take a bet on another unproven young striker.

Douglas Luiz – Midfielder

The 27-year-old reportedly could leave Juventus after just one season.

Luiz enjoyed a standout 2023/24 campaign with Aston Villa, impressing with his energy in both defence and attack.

With Juventus interested in Jadon Sancho, United must make use of their good working relationship and swoop for Luiz.

The departure of Christian Eriksen has left a void in the squad, and Luiz could be a perfect fit.

He could play as a number six or as a number eight and will bring more depth to Amorim’s squad.

Senne Lammens – Goalkeeper

Lammens is one of the most exciting young shot-stoppers in the world.

The Belgian goalkeeper put in exceptional performances for Antwerp last term.

He had a save success rate of 77 percent in comparison to Andre Onana’s 67 percent.

Onana has struggled to establish authority between the posts, and Lammens could offer a more composed alternative.

At just 23, Lammens could be a smart long-term investment in a position where United need more consistency.
