Reading that reaffirms just how grateful the people of the city should be to Tom Wagner and Knighthead.

He’s really infusing fresh ideas, fresh energy and finances into not just us, not just the community but the city as a whole.

In years to come I truly believe he’ll be held up as the man who saved Birmingham

No doubt this is a game changer for the city but I think it's a stretch to say Brum needs saving! There is enty of investment in the city and contrary to many people's belief the city isn't bankrupt even if its council is!
However the sports quarter will likely be the catalyst for further investment and hopefully begin to change perception of the city from outside. Having a team named after it competing in the Premier league will help too!
