New Roma offer for Wesley hits 25m plus bonuses
Roma have put in a new proposal for Wesley worth €25m plus add-ons, according to Fabrizio Romano, but must also wait for Flamengo to find a replacement.
It is well known that the 21-year-old only wants the Giallorossi and has repeatedly rejected the more lucrative proposal from Zenit St Petersburg, but reaching an agreement with his club has proved more difficult.
The opening €20m plus bonuses bid was turned down, and the most recent suggestions were that the offer had reached €25m including add-ons.
Latest Roma bid for Wesley could be the one
Now transfer pundit Romano claims that there is a new communication worth €25m plus bonuses, and that may well be enough to finally sway Flamengo.
The problem now is that the Brazilians will only let Wesley Franca leave once they have found a suitable replacement.
The right-back has two senior caps for Brazil and only recently signed a new contract with Flamengo to December 2028.
