Vlahovic conflicting strategies for Fenerbahce, Juventus and Milan

While Turkish reports suggest Fenerbahce are trying to convince Dusan Vlahovic again, Italian sources reiterate Milan’s plan to wait out the Juventus turmoil.

The striker’s current contract expires in June 2026 and he has so far refused to accept an extension with a lower salary, or a move to the Saudi Pro League.

This afternoon, Turkish transfer pundit Ersin Albayrak claimed that Fenerbahce officials were in talks with Vlahovic’s representatives in Bodrum.

They had already tried once before this summer to convince Vlahovic, along with coach Jose Mourinho, and are now attempting it again.

On the other hand, the Corriere dello Sport reiterates that Milan are waiting in the wings and have a specific strategy when it comes to the Serbia international.

They know as the calendar ticks over into August, Juve will be increasingly desperate to get him off their books, even if it means negotiating a termination by mutual consent.

This is because the contract was structured to rise in wages to a peak of €12m per season in 2025-26, a figure Juventus do not want to pay.

At the same time, Milan also feel that Vlahovic needs to see the lack of real alternatives before he will accept a significantly lower salary of €7m per season.

It is a risky strategy, but one that depends on the centre-forward not being convinced by any other options first.
