RagsRagsI don't think we will sign him, but there are circumstances where it could be a good deal.
The guy had 13 goal contributions in the Premier league last season and scored 1 in 2 during his previous championship campaign.
He is an upgrade on both Dykes and May, neither would make our prem squad anyway if we do get promoted.
20k a week, 12 month contract, high promotion bonus. If he scored 10 goals that played a part in promotion then it'd be worth it.
Why would Vardy drop from £140,000 a week to £20,000 a week ?
May would score 10 goals guaranteed if we played him.
Because drop a £2m promotion bonus and it's more like £60k a week.
Just turn up, stink the place out, contribute nothing and still gets £2m ... ? or are you possily going to caveat that ?

As I said his last championship campaign he scored 18 in 35 some of which from the bench and he scored 9 last season if the division above.
Im not saying we absolutely should sign him, but pointing out that there would be a deal to be done that would be good value for us. Those that are writing him off as though he's finished and wouldn't take him even if he was paying us to play I find more bewildering.
