We’re back in William Hill Premiership action this weekend as we face Rangers! Read the full match preview below.

David Gray’s side travel to Ibrox on Sunday (29 September, 2024) for the 12 noon kick-off.

 The Lowdown

The Hibees come into this weekend’s game off the back of some good form, now unbeaten in the league in three.

David Gray’s side beat St Johnstone 2-0 in their last outing, thanks to goals from Mykola Kuharevich and Martin Boyle.

That win now sees Hibs sat ninth in the William Hill Premiership table with five points from five games.

The Hosts

Rangers currently sit third in the Scottish top-flight with 10 points from their opening five matches - only dropping points in two of their league fixtures so far; drawing with Hearts and losing to Rangers.

Domestically, they come into this game having won their last two fixtures, comfortably beating Dundee – in their return to Ibrox last weekend - and winning 1-0 away at Dundee United.

Philippe Clement’s side, though, have midweek travel to contend with as they fly to Sweden to face Malmo in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday (26 September) night.

Team News

David Gray will provide a full update on his side during his pre-match press conference.

However, due to the break in fixtures both Joe Newell and Martin Boyle received surgery on their respective issues. The break has also allowed Jack Iredale and Dwight Gayle to get extra time on the grass with the First Team squad.

Kieron Bowie remains unavailable following his serious hamstring injury.
