Tottenham Hotspur welcome Qarabag to North London this evening as they embark on an important Europa League campaign – the first under its new UEFA format.

Champions League teams are now unable to drop down into the Europa League following the group stage, meaning the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United and Roma are among the favourites to lift the trophy.

Spurs start their campaign off against Qarabag at home this evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This is their first of eight League Phase matches before the knockouts commence.

Ironically, Heung-min Son scored his first-ever Tottenham Hotspur goal against Qarabag around a decade ago, and the South Korean superstar will be hoping to add to his tally this evening.
