Report: When Spurs players will begin pre-season training under Postecoglou
The Times have revealed that the Tottenham players will begin their pre-season training under Ange Postecoglou at the start of next month.
More than two months on from Antonio Conte‘s sacking, Spurs have finally appointed a new manager in Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian certainly has plenty of work to do, with Tottenham coming off their worst season in well over a decade, eventually limping to an eighth-place finish.
Postecoglou is expected to bring a more entertaining brand of football to the club, with reports over recent days indicating that his commitment to ‘playing a high-octane brand of possession and high-pressing football’ is what appealed to the Spurs hierarchy (Evening Standard).
Pre-season will thus be crucial for the 57-year-old to get his ideas across to the squad, and The Times have now stated that the players are expected to report back to Hotspur Way at the start of July to prepare for the club’s pre-season tour.
Spurs play West Ham United in Perth, Leicester City in Bangkok and AS Roma in Singapore during their pre-season trip to Oceana and Asia this summer.
The Times also assert that Postecoglou is expected to ‘start work immediately’ to cut and reshape a bloated squad ahead of his first full season in N17.

Given that the Tottenham players have been asked to play a counter-attacking style for the last three years under Mourinho and Conte, Postecoglou will need time to get his ideas across to the squad.
Pre-season will thus be crucial for the Australian but it might also take a couple of months into the campaign for the side to start clicking. So, Spurs fans would need to show some patience.
