Erik ten Hag Speaks To Adrien Rabiot On Phone

 

Ten Hag still wants Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong but he is now considering other midfield targets as well.

 

Manchester United have turned their attention towards Rabiot, who has a year left on his contract with Juventus and is expected to leave.

 

 

The Frenchman is Ten Hag’s personal choice and the club are in talks to secure a deal to sign him.

 

And it has been claimed that the Manchester United manager spoke with Rabiot for the first time on Monday over the phone.

 

 

The Dutchman likely explained his potential role in the team and is certain that Rabiot will improve his Manchester United team.

 

However, there is still no agreement over a fee between the two clubs despite contrary claims.

 

 

Manchester United are yet to contact the midfielder’s mother, Veronique, who is also his agent, over signing the Frenchman.

 

Rabiot is keen on the move and is now waiting for Manchester United to work out the relevant agreements.
