Leeds United Chat • Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 25th May) - Orta frustrated with Bielsa over Lang deal

Kenny, it's not about preferring Marsch over Bielsa, it is simply that, whether you like it or not, Marsch is now the manager of Leeds United. The football club we all support. I was, and remain, a huge fan of Bielsa, and I will always be grateful for how he transormed the team, the club and the city. Those of us old enough haven't forgotten the Don, Wilko or even our fleeting burst of high flying under O'Leary. But they've gone and Bielsa's gone, and maybe it was ineveitable that he would, though how it was handled stinks. He re-ignited in us a love of football played the right way, and maybe we've had football spoiled for us by that swashbuckling style. I have my doubts about Marsch, not based on the 12 games he's had, that was about getting us over the line by hook or by crook, but based on the excellent research the likes of Cjay has done, but he gets his shot and hopefully he takes it. Come on, man; you have some insightful things to say about football, but this constant harking back to Bert feels like a broken record.
