GEORGINA Rodriguez says she never talks about football with her Man United striker partner Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 27-year-old has confessed to being clueless about the beautiful game because she was never interested in the sport as a child.

And she insisted she and her soccer star boyfriend spend their time chatting about their children’s upbringings, travelling and business plans rather than what Ronaldo has got up to on the pitch.

Georgina, about to star in a Netflix docu-series about her rags-to-riches life called ‘I Am Georgina’ which will stream in 190 countries on January 27, told Spanish newspaper El Pais: “The truth is football never interested me when I was a child.

“Ballet and going to the countryside was what interested me.

“It began to interest me because I’m interested in what my partner does but I’m not a football lover and the truth is that at home we don’t speak about football because I haven’t got a clue.

“We tend to speak about looking after ourselves, looking after our children, our training programmes, travel, projects and business plans.”

The former football manager’s daughter added: “In the family environment Cristiano obviously takes my opinion into account but not when it comes to football and business.”

Georgina, who claims in a Netflix show preview she posted on Instagram at the weekend that she knows what it’s like to have nothing, also opened up a window on some of the more difficult moments she has endured in life.

The model and influencer, who turns 28 the day the Netflix show premiers, revealed earlier this month she was living in a £250 converted storage room in Madrid before the “life-changing” day she met Cristiano Ronaldo after moving from the Spanish Pyrenees city of Jaca where she grew up.

She admitted: “I’ve never gone without the basics.

“But it’s also true that I would eat better some days than others and sometimes we had hot water and other times we didn’t.

“I wanted to study when I was 18 and couldn’t leave Jaca but then got the offer of a job in a hotel in a town two and a half hours away and my mum gave me €100 [£83] to go.”
